I have taken due note of the information on insurance coverage. I am aware that I must ensure sufficient insurance coverage during my Erasmus stay in Bonn myself. I confirm that I will check my existing insurance coverage at an early stage in the run-up to my stay in Bonn and extend it if necessary.  *
There is no insurance coverage through the Erasmus+ program or the University of Bonn for the Erasmus stay. You have to take care of sufficient insurance coverage yourself (health insurance, ideally including repatriation to your home country as well as optional, but recommended, liability and accident insurance). Please check with your health insurance company at an early stage about the insurance conditions and possible insurance gaps. Please also check whether special insurance conditions apply in the event of a pandemic or when traveling to (high-)risk areas. You can find further information and links on our website planning

Please note:
The Erasmus Program aims at encouraging inclusion and diversity. Therefore, it is possible to get a top-up funding of 250 € each month for several living- and study-related conditions. In the following section you can find out whether you are eligible for that kind of funding. Detailed information on requirements and proofs can be found in the "Infoblatt Zusatzförderung" on our website www.uni-bonn.de/erasmus-worldwide-in. If you check "yes" for one or more conditions below, you will receive further information by email at a later date.
Do you have a chronic illness that will result in additional costs during your stay abroad?

If you expect additional costs of more than 250 €/month abroad which are not covered by other institutions, please turn to erasmus-outgoing@uni-bonn.de at your earliest convenience. The application for funding must be submitted at least two months before the start of your mobility.
Do you have a disability (20th degree of disability or more)? Or do you have an approved handicap that will result in additional costs during your stay abroad?

Are you employed part-time (not self-employed) where you earn between 451 and 850 € after deductions (net) that you have to quit due to your planned Erasmus-stay? Please note: at the beginning of your planned stay you would need to have had the job for at least a continued 6 months.
